About Virtual Teacher

Virtual Teacher is a website originally developed to try and help fellow teaching colleagues through what we all know can be a very challenging, but rewarding, career. More recently we have expanded our portfolio to include web based tuition as well as conventional 1-to-1 tuition. The one-to-one tuition option is curently only available in the South Cambridgeshire area but we will expand this as time and resources allow.

The idea for the site came about when one of our staff was in their NQT year and struggling to keep up with the required lesson planning for years 7 to 13. Having spent so much time and effort developing a set of high quality lesson plans for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, all of which have been used in the classroom, it seemed a waste to keep them to ourselves when they could help others avoid the stress and heart ache of reinventing the wheel.

All our lesson plans have been used in a classroom to verify that they give the results required and that they can be completed in the allotted time. We believe this is a key area in which we differ from a large number of other online teaching resource sites.

Virtual Teacher also believe that the site should be easy to use and make finding suitable material simple. If you have surfed as far as this page then you are not going to encounter any problems using this site. If you don't agree then please email us to tell us where we went wrong. Without your help we'll never get it right.

We hope you find our site useful. If you do then please recommend us to your colleagues. If you are not impressed with what you've seen then please let us know why by sending us an email telling us how we can improve.

Thank you for you interest in Virtual Teacher and we look forward to helping you.
